For many people the choice between caravan, motorhome and fifth wheeler is very personal. The combined nature of the driving cab and living area of the motorhome makes for a very seemless and convenient travelling/living vehicle. A motorhome has advantages in the areas of : -
Improved fuel economy (in most cases medium sized motorhomes driven on a car license will use as much if not less per kilometre compared to a 6 cylinder family car)
Improved security. With a motorhome your belongings and valuables go with you wherever you go which can be particularly important during extended tours because valuables don't have to be left in a caravan at the local park.
Motorhomes are easy to drive. Arguably (especially with modern reverse cameras) motorhomes are easier to reverse than caravans or fifth wheelers. With a motorhome there's no need to purchase a suitable towing vehicle or be concerned about electrical hassles that often bug the caravan tourer.
When you're driving a motorhome you're never in a rush. You can take it easy and have a good look around this great country of hours. If for some reason you don't make that next town on-time it's very easy to pull over and rest up in a roadside lay-by. You'll never risk driving tired with that sort of convenience.
These have been just a few of the advantages of a motorhome. Please don't hesitate to give on of our consultants a call on 08 9493 7933 or email george@parkland.net.au to discover even more reasons to consider a motorhome.
